What is Power Apps?
Power Apps is Microsoft's low-code platform for building custom business apps. The apps run on phones, tablets and in a web browser, and connect to your business data.
Is Power Apps included in Microsoft 365?
Power Apps for Microsoft 365 is included with many plans for apps that use data in Microsoft 365, such as SharePoint lists. Apps that use premium connectors or Dataverse generally need a Power Apps licence. We check what you need before building anything.
Do we need developers?
Not for most apps. Power Apps is low-code, so many apps can be built without traditional programming. We handle the design, build and security, and you keep ownership of the app.
Can staff use Power Apps on their phones?
Yes. Apps run in the Power Apps mobile app on iOS and Android, and in a web browser.
Where is the data stored?
Usually in SharePoint lists, Dataverse or another system you already use. We decide where the data lives with you, based on security and reporting needs.
Can an app replace our paper forms?
Often, yes. A well-designed app is quicker than paper, catches mistakes as they happen and puts data straight into your reports.
What happens if the person who built the app leaves?
That is a real risk with internal builds. We document apps, set them up under proper accounts and support them, so your business does not depend on one person.
