Is Microsoft Teams included in Microsoft 365?
Teams is included with most Microsoft 365 business and enterprise plans. We check your plan before recommending anything.
What is the difference between Teams and SharePoint?
Teams is where people chat, meet and collaborate. SharePoint is where the files and sites sit behind it. Files shared in a team channel are stored in that team's SharePoint site, so the two work together.
Where are my Teams files stored?
Files shared in a channel are stored in the team's SharePoint site. Files shared in a private chat are stored in the sender's OneDrive. We explain this to your team so nobody loses track of a document.
Can external people join our Teams meetings?
Yes. Guests and external participants can join meetings by link, and you can add guests to a team. We set the rules so access stays under your control.
Can Teams replace our phone system?
It can. Teams Phone lets you make and receive calls in Teams, using your existing number or a new one. See our Microsoft Teams Calling page.
We have too many teams. Can you tidy them up?
Yes. We review what you have, merge or archive teams that are no longer used, tidy up permissions and put rules in place so it does not happen again.
How long does a Teams setup take?
A simple setup can be done in days. A larger rollout with training and a clean-up takes longer. After the assessment we give you a clear plan and timeframe.
