Business internet FAQs
What's the best internet for a business?
It depends on your location, number of users and what you do online. Full fibre is generally the fastest and most reliable where it's available. Business-grade nbn plans add support options, while Fixed Wireless, Starlink and 4G/5G cover regional and remote sites. We'll recommend the best fit.
Can I upgrade to nbn full fibre?
Many premises on fibre to the node (FTTN) or fibre to the curb (FTTC) can. NBN Co says more than 99% of the roughly 600,000 remaining FTTN premises will have access to an upgrade by December 2030, and the high-speed plan requirement for FTTC upgrades was removed on 1 July 2026. Business installations may need an nbn Business Service plan. We'll check your address.
Do I need a backup internet connection?
If internet downtime stops your business, yes. A 4G/5G failover service keeps phones and key systems online when your main connection drops.
Is Starlink suitable for business?
It's a good option for remote sites, worksites and places where nbn can't deliver well, and it also works as backup. We'll advise whether it suits your location and needs.
Can you fix poor mobile coverage in my building?
Yes. Cel-Fi boosters improve 4G and 5G mobile signal indoors, on worksites and in vehicles, and we install and set them up for you.
