MEDICAL AND FERTILITY
IT Support for Medical and Fertility Clinics
Secure, reliable IT for medical practices, specialists and fertility clinics, where patient privacy and system availability are critical. We keep clinic systems protected, backed up and running so clinicians can focus on patients.
How we help medical and fertility clinics
Patient information is highly sensitive, and clinics cannot afford for their systems to be unavailable.
Patient data protection
Encryption, access controls, multi-factor authentication and monitoring reduce the risk of a data breach.
Backup and recovery
Tested backups and a recovery plan protect clinical records and keep downtime short.
Reliable networks and Wi-Fi
Fast, stable networks for practice software, imaging and devices across consulting rooms and reception.
Phones and reception
Cloud phone systems with call queues and auto-attendants so patients get through and reception stays on top of calls.
Device and software support
Managed computers and printers, and support for the systems your practice software depends on.
Cyber incident readiness
Monitoring, security awareness training and an incident response plan for when something goes wrong.
Clinic IT support: protecting patients and passing accreditation
Health information is some of the most sensitive data there is. Here is how we help clinics protect it.
Health information is regulated
Health service providers are covered by the Privacy Act and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, whatever their turnover. We help you protect patient information and prepare for a breach.
RACGP Standards and accreditation
The RACGP released the 6th edition of its Standards for general practices on 26 August 2026, with stronger cyber security and digital governance requirements. Accreditation still runs on the 5th edition for now. We help you evidence the IT side of either.
Tested continuity and recovery plans
The new Standards expect a documented, regularly tested plan for ICT continuity, protection and recovery, including a cyber incident response plan. We help you build it and test it.
My Health Record access
Practices that participate in My Health Record need a security and access policy, reviewed at least annually, and must remove access promptly when staff leave. We manage accounts and access to support that.
Clinical and practice systems
We support the servers, networks, devices and backups behind your practice software, imaging and pathology links.
Reception that never misses a call
Call queues, overflow and after-hours messages keep patients connected even on busy mornings.

Security first, because patients trust you
Health providers hold information patients expect to stay private, and health is consistently among the most-reported sectors for data breaches in Australia. We build protection around the ACSC Essential Eight, keep systems patched and monitored, and test backups regularly.
We work around your clinic's needs and your software vendors, so changes are planned and disruption is kept to a minimum. We also support veterinary practices: see IT support for veterinary clinics.

Business internetMedical and fertility clinic IT FAQs
Can you help protect patient information?
Yes. We combine access controls, multi-factor authentication, encryption, backups, monitoring and staff training, built around the Essential Eight.
Can you support our practice management software?
We support the computers, servers, network and backups your practice software runs on, and work with your software vendor when needed.
How do you minimise disruption to the clinic?
We plan changes around your schedule, use remote support wherever possible and test backups so recovery is quick if something fails.
Do you support clinics with more than one location?
Yes. We support multi-site clinics with consistent networks, phones and security.
Do clinics have to report data breaches?
Health service providers are covered by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme whatever their turnover. If a breach is likely to cause serious harm, you generally need to notify affected patients and the OAIC. We help you prepare and respond, and you should seek privacy advice for legal questions.
What do the new RACGP Standards mean for our IT?
The 6th edition strengthens cyber security and digital governance, including a documented, regularly tested ICT continuity and recovery plan that covers cyber incident response. We help you review your systems, document your plan and test it. Check the transition arrangements with your accreditation provider.
How often should we test our backups?
Regularly, and after any major change. A backup is only useful if you can restore from it, so we test restores on a schedule and report the results.
Can you work around clinic hours?
Yes. We schedule planned updates and maintenance outside clinic hours wherever possible, so patient care is not interrupted.
