DEVICE REPAIR
Computer and Hardware Upgrades, Including Windows 11 Migration
Give ageing computers a second life or replace them before they fail. We handle Windows 11 upgrades, memory and SSD upgrades and full device refreshes, with minimal downtime.
Windows 10 support has ended
Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025. Devices still running it no longer receive free security updates, although businesses can buy Extended Security Updates for up to three years, to October 2028.
Some computers cannot run Windows 11 and are due for replacement. Many others only need more memory or a solid state drive to feel new again.
We check each device against Windows 11 requirements, upgrade what is worth upgrading, replace what is not and move your files and settings across. Buying new instead? We supply and set up business hardware through IT procurement.

Is your computer ready for a Windows 11 upgrade?
Not every computer qualifies. These are Microsoft minimum requirements for Windows 11.
Processor
A compatible 64-bit processor running at 1 GHz or faster, with two or more cores.
Memory
At least 4 GB of RAM. More memory often makes older computers feel much faster.
Storage
At least 64 GB of storage available for Windows and your files.
TPM 2.0
A Trusted Platform Module, version 2.0, which protects encryption keys and sign-in.
Secure Boot
UEFI firmware that supports Secure Boot, a startup protection against malicious software.
Graphics and display
A DirectX 12 compatible graphics card with a WDDM 2.0 driver, and a display larger than 9 inches at 720p or better.
We check each device against these requirements and tell you which can be upgraded, which need a part such as memory or an SSD, and which are better replaced.

When did Windows 10 support end?
Support ended on 14 October 2025. Paid Extended Security Updates are available to eligible businesses for up to three years.
Can my computer run Windows 11?
Windows 11 needs a compatible processor, 4 GB of memory, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. We check each device and tell you which can be upgraded.
Can I keep using Windows 10?
The computer will still work, but it no longer receives free security updates, which increases your risk. We recommend upgrading or replacing it.
Will I lose my files and programs?
No. We back up and transfer your files, email and settings, and reinstall your applications as part of the job.
How long does an upgrade take?
A single computer is usually done in a few hours. For larger fleets we work in batches so your team keeps working.
