SERVERS AND NETWORKING
VPN and Secure Remote Access for Business
Let your team work from anywhere without opening your network to attackers. We set up secure remote access that is easy for staff to use and hard for criminals to abuse.
Remote access done safely
Remote work is normal now, but badly set up remote access is one of the easiest ways into a business network. Exposed remote desktop ports and shared passwords are common weak points.
We build secure remote access on multi-factor authentication, current VPN or zero trust technology and sensible access rules, so staff reach only what they need.
Depending on your setup, that might mean a site-to-site VPN between offices, a client VPN for staff, or cloud-based access through Microsoft 365 so you need less VPN in the first place.
Talk to our teamSecure remote access options
Pick the approach that suits how your team works.
Client VPN for staff
Secure access to office systems from home or on the road.
Site-to-site VPN
Encrypted links between offices, warehouses and cloud networks.
Multi-factor authentication
A second check on every login, so a stolen password is not enough.
Zero trust access
Grant access per user and device, instead of trusting the whole network.
Cloud-first alternatives
Move applications to Microsoft 365 and the cloud so staff need less VPN.
Monitoring and logging
Know who connected, from where and when.
Choosing the right secure remote access
The best option depends on how your team works.
A small team with an office server
A client VPN, protected with multi-factor authentication, is often the simplest way to reach files and applications in the office.
Several sites
Site-to-site VPN links connect your offices so staff can reach shared systems as if they were in the same building.
Mostly cloud apps
If your work lives in Microsoft 365 and other cloud apps, you may not need a VPN at all. Strong sign-in controls and device checks can be enough.
Staff on personal devices
Zero trust access grants access to specific apps instead of the whole network, which limits the damage if a device is lost or compromised.

VPN and remote access questions
Plain answers to common questions.
What is a VPN?
A VPN creates an encrypted connection between a device and your network, so staff can use company systems safely over any internet connection.
Do we still need a VPN if we use Microsoft 365?
Not always. Microsoft 365 apps can be reached securely without a VPN, but you may still need one for on-premises servers, file shares or line-of-business software.
Is Remote Desktop safe to use?
Not when it is exposed directly to the internet. We place it behind a VPN or secure gateway with multi-factor authentication.
Can you connect two offices securely?
Yes. We build encrypted site-to-site connections between offices, warehouses and cloud networks.
Will remote access be hard for staff to use?
No. We keep it simple and give your team clear instructions and ongoing support.
