SharePoint that people actually use

SharePoint is where Microsoft 365 keeps your team's documents, sites and intranet. Set up well, it replaces the shared drive, ends version confusion and makes it easy to work together from anywhere. Set up badly, it becomes one more place where files get lost and permissions get messy.

We are a Microsoft Partner. Our consultants plan your site structure, build your libraries and permissions, connect SharePoint to Teams and OneDrive, and lock it down using the security controls already included in Microsoft 365.

Whether you are starting fresh, tidying up a SharePoint that has grown out of control, or moving off a file server, we keep it practical and explain every decision in plain English. If you are moving files from a file server or an older SharePoint, see our SharePoint migration service.

What our SharePoint consultants do

From a single team site to a full intranet, we cover the whole job.

Site and library design

A clear structure of sites, hubs and document libraries, with sensible naming so people know where things live.

Permissions and access

Access that follows your team structure, with regular reviews so the wrong people cannot see sensitive files.

Intranets and team sites

Communication sites and team sites for news, policies, procedures and projects, built on modern SharePoint.

Teams and OneDrive integration

Files shared in Microsoft Teams are stored in SharePoint. We set up Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint to work together properly.

Document management

Version history, metadata, retention and approvals, so important documents stay controlled and easy to find.

Workflow automation

Approvals, notifications and routine tasks handled by simple workflows built with Power Automate.

Findability and search

Views, metadata and search tuned so people find the right document in seconds, not minutes.

Governance and sharing controls

Simple rules for external sharing, guest access, naming and clean-up, so SharePoint stays tidy as it grows.

How a SharePoint project works

A straightforward process with no surprises.

01

Assess

We look at how your team works today, what files you have and who needs access to what.

02

Design

We plan your sites, libraries, permissions and naming, and agree the design with you before we build anything.

03

Build and migrate

We build the sites, bring your content across and connect Teams, OneDrive and your devices.

04

Train and support

We show your team how to use it, then stay on hand to support, tidy and improve it over time.

SharePoint consulting questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most.

Is SharePoint included in Microsoft 365?

SharePoint Online is included with most Microsoft 365 business and enterprise plans, so many businesses already have it. What it needs is the right setup. Licensing varies by plan, so we check what you have before recommending anything.

What is the difference between SharePoint and OneDrive?

OneDrive is personal storage for an individual's work files. SharePoint is shared storage for teams, sites and departments. Files you share in Microsoft Teams are stored in SharePoint. Most businesses use all three together: OneDrive for personal files, SharePoint for shared files and Teams for conversations and meetings.

Can SharePoint replace our file server?

For most businesses, yes. We move your shared folders into SharePoint libraries and OneDrive, keep access controls in place and sync files to desktops where people need them. Some specialist applications still need a server, and we will tell you if that applies to you. See our SharePoint migration page for how we move files.

Can we control who sees what?

Yes. SharePoint permissions can be set per site, library, folder or file, and we design them around your team structure so access stays simple to manage. We also review external sharing and guest access so files are only shared with people you intend.

Do we need an intranet?

Not every business does. If your staff need one place for news, policies, forms and procedures, a SharePoint communication site works well and is included in most Microsoft 365 plans. If a well organised document library does the job, we will say so.

Can you fix our existing SharePoint?

Yes. Many projects are tidy-ups: simplifying permissions, restructuring libraries, removing duplicate files and fixing sharing links. We start with an assessment so you know what is there and what to change first.

How long does a SharePoint project take?

It depends on size and complexity. A small team site can be ready in days. A full restructure with a migration takes longer. After the assessment we give you a clear plan and timeframe.
