MEDIUM BUSINESS PHONE SYSTEMS

Phone System for Medium Business

A phone system built for a growing team, with several sites, busy phones and staff in the office, at home and on the road. We design it, install it and support it long term.

A phone system that keeps up as you grow

Somewhere between 20 and 100 staff, a phone system stops being a simple tool and becomes part of how the business runs. Calls need to reach the right team, managers want to see what is happening, and a second site or a work-from-home team can leave an old box on the wall struggling.

tsit.cloud, our hosted phone system, is built for this stage. It scales across sites and users with no cap, works with Yealink and Grandstream handsets and Microsoft Teams, and gives you queues, recording and call reporting without more hardware.

Already running an on-site system such as Avaya IP Office or iPECS? We support those too, and can help you decide whether to keep it, run it alongside the cloud or move across. Smaller team? See our small business phone systems.

What a medium business phone system needs

The features that keep busy teams and several sites running smoothly.

Call queues and agent groups

Hold callers fairly, share calls across a team and keep callers informed while they wait.

Multi-site calling

Dial between sites with short extension numbers and manage every office on one system.

Auto attendants and routing

Route calls by time of day, department or caller, with a different greeting for each site.

Call recording and reporting

Record calls for training and compliance, and see how quickly calls are being answered.

Handsets and headsets

Yealink and Grandstream desk phones, cordless handsets for the warehouse or shop floor, and headsets for busy roles.

Microsoft Teams

Use Teams as your phone for some staff and desk phones for others, all on one system.

Cloud, on-site or a mix of both?

Medium businesses often have a system already. We help you choose what is right for the next few years.

Hosted phone system

Calls run from the cloud with no box to maintain, and every site and home worker joins the same system.

On-site phone system

If you already run an iPECS or Avaya IP Office system, we support and repair both, so you can keep it for as long as it suits you.

A hybrid approach

Keep the on-site system at head office and move branches or home workers onto tsit.cloud, then consolidate when it suits you.

Medium business phone system questions

What growing businesses ask before they choose.

Should we choose a hosted or an on-site phone system?

Both work. Hosted suits several sites, growing teams and staff who work from home. An on-site system can still make sense if it is working well and you have one main site. We recommend based on what you have and where you are heading.

Can we run Microsoft Teams and desk phones together?

Yes. We connect Teams to tsit.cloud with Direct Routing, so some staff can call from Teams while others keep desk phones, all on the same numbers and call flows.

How do you connect several sites?

Every site connects to the same system over its own internet connection, so staff can dial each other by extension and share queues across locations. We check each site connection before we start.

Can we keep our existing numbers and handsets?

In most cases we can port your numbers. Many Yealink and Grandstream handsets can be reused, and we will tell you which ones before you buy anything.

What if our current system is reaching the end of its life?

We can keep supporting and repairing iPECS and Avaya IP Office systems, and we plan the move when you are ready, so there is no rushed decision.
